Fun on the Farm. Schultz's has many ways to enjoy a few hours. It is always fun to watch the young goats be silly. There are many treasures inside to be found. From crafts to candy to food.

We went thinking there were a lot of animals to see and a petting zoo. There were a few goats and a few chickens and some horses.

This was not a petting zoo by any means as they advertised. All of the animals were fenced and you could not get any where near the horses at all.
Staff in the store were very nice but the place was not as advertised. Nice "country store" selling decorations if you are into that kind of thing. GirlTime Getaway. We had limited time so didn't get to walk around the grounds. Thomas J Houston, TX 12 contributions. Red Barn off the beaten path.
Eleva, Wisconsin has the restaurant with the grass roof and the Red Barn. Schultz's Country Barn is a fun place to visit, with farm animals for the children and interesting antiques and other items for the adults.
There is ice cream and food items on the weekends and they were preparing for a Tuesday evening event when we visited. The owner was very friendly and we were lucky she was there early as they are not open during the day early in the week.
She allowed us to peruse the barn and shared information with us about the farm. Wayne Eleva, WI 8 contributions.
So friendly. If you like antiques, this is a great place to browse and shop. It's all so clean and open, and the woman who owns the place is so nice. Go anytime, but lots of people go in the fall to see the corn maze.
Great place for kids, too. I think groups have meetings there as well.
It's nice. Maybe go early in the fall I'd heard a lot of good things about this place, so I thought we'd visit when my grandson and his family were visiting.
The primary attraction here is a corn maze which changes annually. It's very cool to fly over and view it, but we were kind of disappointed with the actual experience. It's kind of expensive, to begin with. We were given a map and a punch card to punch at all the checkpoints. It kind of looked like there should have been an attendant at the checkpoints but there weren't any, and the hole punch was missing from the first station.

The map implied there was some sort of contest to be entered if you found all the checkpoints, but we never did figure out what to do with the punched cards. They do have a neat little petting zoo for the kids, and an interesting variety of country decor, some of which was priced pretty reasonable. They also were selling both edible and decorative squash and pumpkins, we bought some delicious acorn squash for less than what it would cost in a grocery store. We also bought some rather expensive but amazing cashew brittle they were selling. Maybe if you go earlier in the fall, the maze is more well run and maintained.
